Dan Dawes: As close to Katz's in NYC as you're going to get in B'more. I have never ordered anything but a Jessica Special (Smoked Turkey Breast, Pastrami, Swiss, Cole Slaw and Russian Dressing). It's that good!
Dan Dawes: It's a hike out to Forrest Hill, but it's worth it. On the weekends they fire-up open pit beef and serve it up right. A family tradition when getting the Christmas tree. Can't miss.

Dan Dawes: A big fan of cold cuts, this is my B'more favorite. THE REAL ITALIAN - Salami, prosciuttini, mortadella, capicola & provolone, olive oil & vinegar, grated cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions & mild hots.
