- Rachel GutbrodAugust 13, 2013I've never had oysters as phenomenal. And if you are with a group not as fond of oysters as you, the bread that comes with it dipped in the sauce is heavenly.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- OctoberJune 9, 2013Great atmosphere! Great "date" spot. We could actually talk and the music was great. Only Downfall no ranch dressing 😳! The food was great - Salmon Sandwich yummy!

- If you are there for the music, before they seat you, ask if your seats have an unobstructed view of the stage. Many don't and are sold at same price without warning.
- Melinda HaneyOctober 9, 2013Went here for my cousin's rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious, but the music was incredible! What an amazing evening.
- Their pisco sour is one of my favorite cocktails in town. Bitter blood orange juice and honey peppercorn syrup. Amazing.
- Flatbread and spreads are great for a classy app while enjoying jazz and cocktails.
- AMINovember 28, 2011Minneapolis! R&B vocalist José James plays the Dakota 12/14/11 at 7 & 9:30pm!! You won't want to miss this one! Give us a shout (@AMIagency) when you check in!
- The concerts are wonderful and the prices are really reasonable for the shows
- Food is good but a bit overpriced, though the house burger is a good fit! Don’t sit in table 113 if you want to see/hear band well, but most other seat areas are fine.
- Mpls.St.Paul MagazineMarch 14, 2011Try the Jalapeno Poppers. These trashy-wonderful bar menu poppers are stuffed with fontina cheese, wrapped in speck ham, and lolling in chipotle cream.
- Soul TrainMay 5, 2011Cover for the shows are waived w/ a $20 per person purchase on Foodie Nights. Live music from folks like Les Nubians, Judy Collins and Bobby Lyle.
- Gary HartJuly 31, 2011An intimate place for incredible music, food, and drink. Check out late night groups like Viva Brazil.
- Nathan StohlmannDecember 23, 2016No bad seats in the house for sound, but sightlines can be iffy from some spots.
- Best late-night music in town - for $5 Friday and Saturday come see great local musician - some jazz, some not.
- Mariann Justmari Beard-GossDecember 19, 2019Next time I’m going just for the show My Burger got your fries faded!
- Wesley StoryJanuary 1, 2011Don't sit on the upper level against the wall directly in front of the stage. Seems counter intuitive but upper level seats on the sides of the stage have better views of the stage.
- Get the assortment of smoked fish & the cheese plate!! To die for!!! (cheese plate may not be on the menu but they'll make u one) happy nibbling!!
- Expensive, not entirely sure it's worth the price but great concert venue!
- David SimmerApril 23, 2011Nachito Herrera playing? Don't sleep. Less $$ than the big names that come through, but consistently amazing on the keys.
- Don't tip on the admission fee that is added onto your food and drink bill.
- Patrick DoringDecember 26, 2010Burger with white cheddar was the best burger we have ever had... Top notch
- Charles EdgeJanuary 14, 2012Lots of alcohol. If that's not what you're after, keep going. Great steak though!
