The chicken jidori bowl is great, but the burger is one of the best kept secrets in LA.
If you can look past the "scene," they have great salads (my favorite is the Tucson) and arguably my favorite red velvet cupcake.
If you can find parking, Joan's is great for their cheese selection, salads, and sandwiches (the meatloaf shouldn't be missed).
Their Thanksgiving sandwich is good year-round, as our their adorable pies that are cute and compact.
