LOVE this place. My mom used to take me here when I'd get to go w/ her to work as a little 90s kid...way before cupcakes "got cool". The buttercream frosting is MINDBLOWINGLY good with unique flavors!
Ehm..."unique" is only description for this dusty antique shop/old bluegrass music/cupcake shop combo. Densewalnut cupcake with wax-like buttercream frosting seem made with the original antiques.
Delicious smooth butter creamfrosting. It's a mess to eat be warned!! (Had the chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting. The frosting has No shortening and is not frothy, it's actually cream!)
You can order one of the best cupcakes in New York, then sit down with a cappuccino at the giant marble table and read for hours with no one bothering you. In autumn, be sure to snag a pumpkindonut.
The coffee here is fantastic, the cupcakes are beautiful to look and yummy to eat. On the weekends Mike makes delicious waffles, no frills because they're not needed. If you're looking for a place to

I use cupcake to round off a meal whilst on foot in Manhattan. MacD's or bagel with lox and then get a cupcake for dessert. Cheap treat and lovely! Read more
This ancient&dusty place is the worst!Service is beyond horrible.Even when speaking to them w direct eye contact, somehow they still ignore the customer. Even if cupcakes are great, never coming back!
Been told these are "true buttercream." Guess I don't like true buttercream. Dense, dry cake, frosting tastes like eating a stick of butter. They're beautiful, but I didn't eat mine, & won't be back.
Save your money and go elsewhere for coffee and cupcakes. The cupcakes were not only dry, they each weigh a ton...like a brick. That's how thick they were. The butter cream is sub par. Avoid!
