Craftsmen is all about the beer (they opened with 48 taps and have more options in bottles). The food options are focus on filling fare, like Crunchy Dame, with pork belly, cherry jam and an egg.

Pretty good local and Craft Beer selection for the downtown historic district. Knowledgeable staff. Friendly. Full of locals and nearby restaurant staff. My kind of place.

I have literally been dreaming about the roasted veggies. Such a simple dish, but executed perfectly! Servers were very knowledgable. Try the good juju beer if you're seeking some refreshment!

Great place, very attentive and friendly staff at the bar especially Melissa. The list on tap is simply amazing. Must try is the Coffee Rye porter.

Fantastic beer selection, obviously. 1/2 price sandwiches on Tuesday, including their burger, which is DELICIOUS. Seriously, on point.

No one is sure what to make of the food, but the beer and snacks are worth a look. Supposedly they have a happy hour, but when is anybody's guess.

Squid fries are good, but the rest of the food is mediocre. Portions are very small. The grilled cheese was spicy and there was barely any cheese on the sandwich.

Worst service we've ever experienced in our life...dinner reservations at 7:30...did not leave till after 10...did not get menus for at least 30 mins...small plates with lackluster food

Service took forever. Out of pork and wine. Few selections. Food came out at separate times. Most disappointing experience in charleston.
