Excellent and attentive service at Coq d'Argent, a rooftopCity venue with personal yet respectful waiting staff. Particular commendation for paying due care to guest food allergies.
Very nice rooftop open air bar and patio for those warm summer (dry) evenings. The crowd is mainly city workers having client lunches or chilling after work.
Superb menu. If any concern, it was that the vegetarian options are quite limitedbut still look tasty and enticing. Overall, this has to be a recommendation, and certainly a must for wine-lovers.
Okay so this is for the views on a nice summer evening. It's a bit pricey but you are paying for more than just the food and drink. Nice food. Large selection of drinks.
Good food, nice views. Lovely to sit outside during a warm day. Weekend brunch is nicely priced at £29 on a weekend with a Bellini included. They do charge a 'cover charge' of £2 per person..
Book a late lunch for an unhurried meal. Relaxing and great buzzy atmosphere. 3 course set menu for £29 is very good value - for sublime masterchef food. Great place for a special occasion.
Enjoy open-air dining on the terrace whilst tucking into a contemporary French menu, and observe the impressive views of St Paul’s Cathedral, the Gherkin and the Bank of England. Read more
Superb bar with rooftop garden. Go here on a hot summer day. Oustanding views of the Bank of England and it's surrounds. Great for sunsetviewing's too. Pricey, but worth it.
Pricy boring food. I don’t understand and not happy with the 5min ceremony of placing each veggie on the plate one by one. It tasted like home food anyway 🤷🏻♀️ Tables are too close to each other☹️
This bar is the height of sophistication with an exceptional wine list, an extensive range of champagnes and stodgy cigars available to slurp, sip and smoke as applicable. Read more
Honestly, expected more. Food was ok, liked Painkillercocktail a lot. Black chocolatetart 👎 and the place was too noisy. + The bill was...beyond the world....
Great terrace doe warm summer days. Restaurant is ok and terribly overpriced. Basically, paying for great service and average food. Side dishes are extremely small. Beef fillet is quite small for £38.
If expecting 5 star service, you should probably go somewhere else. The food is good, but attention to detail is poor. Dirty cutlery, no cleaning of tables between meals, staff leaning on walls etc
Understand why people jump off the roof here - service is terrible, cocktails only have a passing resemblance to those ordered, but as expensive as a bar that genuinely knows what it's doing. Avoid.
