Cillian: Hipster (coffee in test tubes? check!) Owner just won the World Latte Art competition. This part of town is very walkable, great for hopping between coffee shops, art galleries and quirky shops.
Cillian: The menu is huge, but stick to the Thai section - the food is excellent. Even after living here for a year we found some new things on the menu. Durian sticky rice dessert is amazing!
Cillian: You can get Khao Soi everywhere, but at least this place has aircon :-) There's some other interesting stuff on the menu, but can't say I was fond of the Thai truffles ("underground mushrooms").
Cillian: If you've had Burmese before, skip it and try more Isan/Lanna food instead!
Cillian: Inventive coffee concoctions. Tiny shop, so fills up quick with the usual Instagramer types.
Cillian: Thai version of congee. Some dim sum also available. Nothing spectacular, but if you want to eat breakfast like a local, come here. At anytime, it's 24 hours!
Cillian: Duck into the wats along this street, the market action spills over into some of them.
Cillian: If you're a real foodie, you might want to book ahead for here. (didn't visit)
