With a breathtaking view of the city and an absolutely epic wine list, to sit down at Coach Insignia is to have a good meal. The high-flying experience is one worth truly savoring. [Eater 38 Member]
If all restaurants were judged based on how well they do "simple" dishes, this place would be at the top of the list. The butternut squash soup and kale salad were some of the best I ever had.
Check out Coach Insignia as it was featured on Bite This with Nadia G for On top of the Renaissance Center great steakhouse with great views. Nadia has root beer braised short ribs Read more
A must visit just for the view!! Go prepared to pay for it though... recommend going for drinks/appetizers, then choosing another place for dinner or stopping in for a drinks/dessert.
Hit the bar during happy hour, and get anything on the menu. The burger is the best, but you still can't go wrong with lobster corn dogs, kobe beef sliders that COME WITH A BEER!? you get the idea.
The Fisher Family has some wine from its own Napa winery here the "coach insignia". Worth it for sure. Meat asparagus wine and the Charlotte dessert. #goodtimes #winelove
@RobTheWebGuy proposed to his wife here! Food, staff & atmosphere is top notch. If you can get in for it, this is the best place to watch the Red Bull air race and the Fireworks!
Love this restaurant and highly recommend it for those in in the Detroit area (or visiting), but I liked it better as The Summit (and it rotated back then too)
Beautiful and elegant restaurant on top floor of the rencen. See a view of the whole city from one of the highest places downtown. full panoramic view...
go to coach insignia and enjoy dinner, fine wine and an unsurpassed view of detroit. order their chocolate mousse torte. divine. pricey but very worth it.
The quintessential hotel guest trap. Expensive steakhouse where two out of two filet mignon steaks arrived severely overcooked. Take the elevator up. Catch the views. Eat elsewhere.
Nice venue horrible service. everyone at my table got their food at 8:20p it's 9:19p and since they got my order wrong I still haven't eaten.. Free cheese tray and a second glass of Riesling wasn't it
Nobody told me I'd have to go to the 72nd floor in a glass elevator on the outside of the building. The four glasses of wine I had at dinner helped on the way down.
This contemporary steak house offers breathtaking views from the top of the Renaissance Center. We feature elegant cuisine and a world-class wine list.
