- DinnidinMarch 18, 2016Amazing view! Book table in advance, preferably by the window, of course :-) Food is good also, but it's the view you pay for mainly
- Serious EatsApril 21, 2014The food and drinks here are nothing extraordinary, but it's one of the city's best spots to sit for an hour or two, watching the sunset and the tides change.
- Erman ErbakMarch 3, 2016Good Brunch with beatiful Pasific Ocean view. Try out the Californian Omlette and of course bread & butter service is very nice though
- Markeda CottonhamSeptember 25, 2015The oysters are amazing. Best oysters I've ever tasted. Clam chowder is thick and creamy. Calamari was perfect. Must get long island ice tea! Its in a barrel for ten days.... Knockout !
- Ben OngJuly 2, 2013Omg! How should I start? This is definitely my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area with the best ocean front dining experience! You gotta be there to know what I mean. A-W-E-S-O-M-E
- Janet FoutsJune 27, 2015Come for brunch and they serve the most amazing popovers. I prefer the "diner" to the Sutro restaurant. The views are just as good and the food is less contrived.
- adriana castroNovember 20, 2016Amazing Sunday brunch all you can drink champagne, delicious Benedict eggs and great service. Make a reservation if you can the view is amazing
- Jules BelcherOctober 18, 2014Nice bar, very welcome cold beer - not too expensive considering location either - spectacular view of Sutro Baths, Ocean Beach and the Pacific.
- AndreaAugust 10, 2013Great place for cocktails (the bar is really cute) with great views. The food is average, but the views are worth a few cocktails. Don't miss the Camera Obscura in back!
- Koji KOMATSUSeptember 25, 2015Sunday Champagne Brunch Buffet is the best buffet I have had ever. Fancy food, free-flowing champagne, oceanfront view, and live harp music.. Amazing.
- Ellie KravetsFebruary 12, 2016Wonderful place to enjoy beautiful Pacific Ocean views! Bring your date, have a drink or two & tasty small bites. Enjoy :)
- Minyi ShihDecember 30, 2012Clam chowder and the eggs san francisco is a must. If you have ability to share - get the French toast. Comes with apple compote! Perfect with syrup.
- Christian FengDecember 28, 2018Champagne Brunch Buffet, 3 seatings usually but 4 on holidays, open only on Sundays for the time being! Service is excellent.
- Daniel PlemmonsAugust 7, 2014The view is really just excellent. Great place to grab lunch before hiking around lands end or heading over to the Palace of Fine Arts.
- The Taste SheriffJanuary 28, 2018Fine dining establishment. Nothing too innovative, a rather 90s menu. Stunning views, boring ambience, hefty price tag. That said, it's the perfect way to finish your hike.
- Rob A. StofbergAugust 16, 2017They serve perfect oisters and roasted duck. Got a good - and cheaper - wine suggestion (although I picked myself a more expensive pne).
- Travel + LeisureJuly 30, 2012Don’t leave without checking out the restaurant’s world-famous camera obscura (one of about 20 in existence), with 360 degrees of live images projected from a nearby seal rock.
- Yash KadaruApril 19, 2017The grilled salmon with potatoes, mushrooms and spinach. A classic but the sauce they cook it with is gorgeous: a buttery, slightly sweet, slightly bitter goodness. Irish coffee was mediocre though.
- Evan JohnsonAugust 7, 2014Sunset, ocean view, great bar with some awesome drinks. The restaurant is overpriced, but the bar is a great date place.
- Bar ExchangeNovember 4, 2013Enjoy the great view and treat yourself to a glass of champagne topped off with a dash of Chambord...
- Great views. Love the diversity on the menu. Try to get Dimitri as a waiter
- keerthi annavarapuJanuary 11, 2017Had the best time here, breathtaking views. Definitely going back!
- Mathew HartSeptember 1, 2014There is a great sunset view but you can't see it while dining because they close the shades. Everything seemed average so we left to take in the view on the beach and cliffs around the restaurant.
- Greg WohlenbergOctober 13, 2010See the beautiful renovation and views! If you're motivated you can launch a hike up into Land's End Trail from here. Otherwise have a cocktail and then stroll down the beach to see the kites.
- Dylan MabinAugust 7, 2015Great place for a special cocktail and appetizer as a break on a walk down the coast.
- Windows Live Photo GalleryOctober 29, 2010Go down to the viewing area in front of Cliff House. There are fantastic vantages of the ocean, the beach, as well as some interesting rock formations.
- Campbell BirdJune 13, 2016Very cool spot. The service here seems a little suspect, but I imagine you'd want to take your time here anyway.
- Jen KMarch 29, 2013Mussels w/Harissa is the best I've ever had. The waiter said regulars won't let them remove it from the menu.
- Try the Pan Roasted Corvina - #kvpinmybelly : Yummy, fresh fish for #Christmas brunch. Tastes like cod. Also liked the mushroom risotto
- Reid FelizMay 11, 2014Mimosas yum, free popovers yum, amazing views and cool, energetic Sunday brunch vibe.
- Tati ☆☆☆☆☆☆July 20, 2014Cliche place to go to, however, the seafood here is super fresh and delicious. Great view
- Luke BornheimerJuly 29, 2016The restaurant is touristy, overpriced and has mediocre food, but the view from behind the restaurant (and around its sides) is fantastic! Skip the restaurant, take in a view and continue up the hill.
- Mike PSeptember 27, 2013Mad expensive food, reasonably priced beer. Factor in the view and this is the best place for beers on the water.
- Peter PennyDecember 29, 2011Do get here early. We missed the sunset on a beautiful winters evening but we were with Walt Disney. A must visit nearby.
- Heléne BjörkmanJuly 23, 2015Fantastic view both from the house and the surroundings. Skip their Sunday brunch
- Tami SwitsAugust 28, 2013Go for breakfast, lunch or an early dinner. Once it gets dark it's just an ordinary restaurant with a cold draft!
- Cut your burgers in half and make sure it is fully cooked. I left mine behind with raw meat. May be the last time there. The blue sapphire martini was good however.
- Dave ContrerasSeptember 7, 2013Hidden gem: Crab cakes benedict (off the menu) for breakfast & lunch.
- Jafafa HotsJune 22, 2010Travel back in time 15 years or so and visit the Cliff House when it was a quirky, fun and exciting place for the whole family rather than a bland architecturally antiseptic yuppie snob mecca.
