If you aren't sure what kind of beer to get, just ask the bartenders. They are great at helping to find something you'll like, and will usually give you a splash before you commit to full pour
Churchkey is the benchmark of brewpub in DC. Sitting above the restaurant Birch and Barley, Churchkey host as many of 55 new and unique beer per week. The number of barkeeps shows this is important.

Love it- Knowledgeable staff if you're not sure how to navigate the massive beer menu. Really crowded on the weekend, come during the week if you want to have a conversation over a delicious beer.

Yes. Just yes. Amazing beer selection, fantastic bar staff--friendly and always ready with a recommendation. (Although really, how could you go wrong with such a finely curated selection?)
Love sitting at the hightop tables near the windows in the afternoon when the sunshine is streaming in. The selection of draft beers and knowledge of the staff is incomparable.

Everything here is the best. Always. But watch out for Friday and Saturday nights. It's standing room only and totally rough. Check out Drafting Table up the street if you're looking for more space.

It kinda goes without saying... this is the best place to drink beer in DC. Take advantage of the staff's knowledge and try as many new brews as you can!
