Sorana Eftinoiu: One of the best small & unexpected places in Rome; great prosciutto in mixed plates @good value for money. Cozy atmosphere and nice staff!

Violet Vale: The herb flavours-lamponi e salvia (raspberry-sage), lavanda e pesca (lavender-peach), & choc bianco al basilico (white chocolate-basil)-are great. And puro (pure chocolate) is heaven too.

Madai Lama: It's a must if you are passing by Termini. I Magnifici are unbeatable on pasta while Trapizzino offers more uniqueness (an hybrid of pizza and sandwich). Prices are good and the service is fast.

Andrea Vellano: Location affascinante all'interno del Chiostro del Bramante. Ottimi drinks e cucina veloce.

Madai Lama: Cool place with a great mood in one of the most representatives squares of Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa. Enjoy the great variety of their aperitivo at the cool interiors or outside with the crowd.

Travel + Leisure: A trip to the (near) suburb of Prati is de rigueur for the most adventurous gelato flavors; Fatamorgana takes the prize for most out-there ingredients and combos—chocolate-tobacco; basil-walnut-honey.

Vincent Mensen: Best beer bar in town. Tell the bartender what you like and you will get something you will absolutely love, if you love craft beers. 10/10
