Those who say "there's not real mexican food in NYC" simply haven't been to Bushwick. Part of a small empire which includes two other Delis. You can expect the same great quality at all of them.
Try the chicken tinga huarache- freshly made masa is used as a platform for refried beans, julienned greenery, squiggles of crema, & tinga, a fiery stew made w. chicken in a chipotle sauce.
Food is definitely authentic. Weird sweet salsa. Fresh guacamole needs a punch. Too much sensory stimulation. 2 TVs and (at one point) 2 sources of music on all at once. Relax.
