- Give blood whenever you can, the staff @ the blood donor center is awesome and they make it very easy on you
- Donate platelets instead of blood to boost up your awesome factor +100 points.
Parents get 20% off and breakfast really inexpensive here food is good HBO cafe- If you're donating platelets, it's about a 2 hour process. Make sure to use the bathroom before you get started.
Remember what floor you parked on and what floor you're going to. It's easy to get lost.
Be prepared to wait here for 1-3 hours, unless it's a life threatening emergency you'll be seen imediately.
In the HBO cafe instead of a burger try the mushroom swiss chicken burger!!!
- Dress warm if you spend more than a few hours here, it gets chilly. Layers saved me today
Avoid getting a parking ticket of $80 by being a cheapskate and just pay a few dollars to park in the convenient parking lot downstairs.
Parking can be tricky for visiting patients, so make sure to show up early for your appointment! Read more
