Bring a snack and a drink while you wait for your checked bags.
The slider place by B19 requires a 20 min wait as they cook to order and you can't mix and match. A sign stating these things would be helpful.
Midway Airport has the best selection of food options of any U.S. airport IMHO.
Xani PodolnyMay 28, 2011All bars and food places are inside security. So, when u have to retrieve your bag, but then have to wait for your friends flights to arrive, u have to wait at bag claim, hungry and sober.

The best thing about Midway was great access to the rental cars. Not anymore, they moved them off site and what once took 5 minutes now takes 45. But they're glad you're here. Fail Midway Fail.

Terminal B, the Taylor Street Market is a decent, healthy-ish option in a sea of fast food.

Watch the security lanes before you commit to one. The middle and outer lanes usually go overlooked so they're the fastest.
Gold Coast Dogs isn’t just for hotdogs. They have decent breakfast sandwiches, too.
Pull up Uber and drop your pin right outside the airport. Then call your driver to pick you up at arrivals.

I love this place because it's less crowded than O'hare. But the lack of free wifi is incredibly frustrating :(
Refill your water bottle after security! In the main food court, head to Illinois Bar and Grill. Turn left towards bathrooms and drinking fountains are on your left
No need to throw out that empty water bottle - use this refilling station near the food court!
Use the curb side check in if you're here around 4:30, as the line is way shorter since the ticket counters don't open until then, to avoid the long lines inside.
- Wipe off seat before you sit. Some cultures finds it perfectly acceptable to put their feet in seats.

Pegsus on the fly have a wonderful sausage wrap with cooked onion inside. Good enough to eat on each leg of the trip.
Small airport very efficient if you have clear and pre check. Lots of food options.

If you need to charge up, follow the signs to gate A4- there's a large, hidden charging station just before the long carpeted concourse area begins.

Sign up for wifi through your cell phone. MDW seems to not have a free wifi (except a southwest connection you need an access code for that I couldn't figure out how to determine a code as a southwest

Choose this airport over ORD every time. Smaller, no constant gate changes, and you can walk straight to car rental!
If you have an early flight, even on a Sunday, order ahead from Einstein Bros (Terminal A).
