It’s all about the classic American steakhouse inside this 19th-century brownstone. You can’t go wrong with the long-boned tomahawksteak, dry aged to perfection. Read more
Low carb tip: carnivore's heaven! Fantastic steak, plenty of veggie side options, salads, even had a few bites of (shareable) pumpkin cheesecake for desert. Very spendy though, and very popular!
We prefer the subterranean piano bar, with vintage photos of Capone and crew and the high wooden tables are packed with storytellers and uncompromising carnivores. http://tmoutchi.us/10esgeQ Read more
Old school steakhouse that stands the test of time. Went for a function on the top floor, they handled a very large party with ease. Everything menu wise was great.
Wow, what a great steakhouse. Definitely the place for all of those folks tired of the chains. A bit pricey, but the food definitely proves it's worth. Try the Kobe Filet, perfect.
Qulity and performance doesn t justify price at all. Not to recommend. Athmosphere like in a fast food quick restaurant. Sorry, far away from excellent. Best steak at Luxe Bar.
My second favorite steak house in Chicago, I love the 64 ounce porterhouse. I never finish it at the restaurant but I do use the left overs in sandwiches all week long.
Great steaks, though a bit pricey (steaks as high as $98 for the best ones as of 04/10/11). Just trying to save you from "stick shock".... But they are good and prepared well.
I rarely leave reviews. But this time I must. AVOID this establishment. Poor quality, tasteless food and very over-priced. Do not believe the reviews. The chef and owner should be ashamed.
Located in an immaculately restored Victorian brownstone in the popular River North neighborhood, visiting Chicago Chop House is like taking a step into the city's colorful past.
