One of the best french cafés in Melbourne. Wonderful atmosphere and absolutely amazing deserts. Hazelnut chocolate cake is a must try. Don't pass through macarons as well - coconut one was fantastic.
The chocolate tart is chocoliscious!!! Lucky we had one saved for us when we arrived as it was late in the afternoon and there were only 2 left :) 3 ppl asked for it while we had our meals!! must try!
Love the warehouse feel and the large timber tables.Their cake selections is to die for so make sure you get some to take away.We had the choc mousse cake w banana/hazelnut crunch. Well worth a visit
So happy to be back after many years. Food and coffee is still good. Cosy lil' place with baked goods and fancybreakfasts :) cured salmon and poached egg was very rich!
Great lil place for all day breakfast or some yummy lunch. Coffee is awesome. & the desserts.. do yourself a favour get down there & try for yourself. Staff were great & prompt. Very busy place
You can have breakfast and brunch there! There menu has a great range of things. I’ve had the French toast and the Smashed Avocado dish. The service is great and very friendly.
Personal favourites: turkish baked eggs for breakfast and lamb salad for lunch. Very crowded especially on sunday mornings. Be as early as you can for breakfast.
Had the braised pork belly and it was delicious. Coffee was ok, not as good as when they serve the Colombian one though. Love the place. Be prepared to wait in the line for a few minutes...
Pro tip - sit inside on days with even a slight breeze, or you, your food and your coffee will be covered in leaves and twigs from the neighbour's peppercorntree
One of the beating hearts of Instagram food photography. I don't think I have ever seen more of my fellow diners snapping away on iPhones in my life! with good reason the food is beautifully presented
Planning an indulgent weekend? What better way to start the day than with Brioche French toast with caramelised apples, vanillamascarpone & orange tuile?
A great well layed out open space. Croque Madam was terrific. Great to be able to sit back and watch the pastry chefs produce world classpastries in a big open kitchen.
They need to bring back their pork belly sandwich and their previous croque madame with the avacado green paste with mushrooms inside and rocket leaves.
Not a fan of the coffee, but the chocolate tart is out of this world. New breakfast menu is great, can recommend the jalepeno briche with beans and pulled pork.
Order anything here, they all good ... pricey but good. Stay indoor as those smokers in the courtyard could not care whether their smokes is annoying you
Flavors were really good but the food was slightly cold. I wouldn't recommend the roast duck crepe. Filling is alright but the crepe is worst I ever had
should i be more polite or should i be more careful with my choice of words.. or should i change my skin colour.. coz to have a reply "whatever" from the waitress is damn insulting..
