Very unique hotel and complex which offers plenty to do. The Trolley ride and Model Railroad Museum are great. The Station House with singing servers was well worth the cost. We will return someday.
I liked the entrance in the old train station. It is magnificent. The whole idea is really cool of bringing an old train station back to life. The pools are pretty and the food at the gardens was good
Great hotel for for family fun. The Trolley and the driver were very infromative about history of the Choo Choo. Plenty of food outlets especially the Station House with singing servers! Will be back
Had a great time!!! Hotel needs some work on the rooms but overall nice place!! Lots to do restaurants, aquarium, nightlife, music!!! Lots of shopping places, train ride, very historical place!!
Stayed here several times in the past but this time we decided to stay the weekend in one of the passenger railcars. Enjoyed our stay and our evening walks along the gardens and gas lit lanterns.
We just returned from a weekend getaway to see a concert in Chattanooga, and our accommodations were at this historic hotel in a train car. we were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a property
I was glad I got to visit such a historic hotel. I arrived early and was allowed a early check in. My room was cleanspacious and comfortable. I quickly learned my way around the property.
It is a wonderful experience to stay in the old train cars and Chattanooga is certainly worth a trip. The aquarium is second to none - and I have seen many.
The hotel is conveniently located in the Downtown area. Overall atmosphere and environment is very impressive, there were lots of activities around. Overall it was a worth a trip!
It is a great resort. The station has been updated into a grand hotel lobby with a restaurant and bar and the rail car as hotel rooms was a brilliant idea.
Fun free thing to do in Chattanooga..see the lobby, which was the original depot, then step out into the gardens and see the trains. The model railroad museum is only $4 a ticket
Sleep in a train car that's a hotel room on the old tracks. Station is the lobby. Ride the electric trolley and see the Chattanooga Steam train, plus a kick ass model railroad.
You can get a room here on Priceline for $53. It's worth $53. You'll be disappointed if you pay the reg rate which is over $100. It's dated. Free shuttle to downtown leaves every 5 minutes.
The lobby is beautiful. We didn't stay in one of the train cars, which look quaint— the rooms feel a bit like an aging Holiday Inn. Not bad, but far from@luxurious.
If you stay in building 3 make sure you ask them to put you in a room closest to the front office. Wireless doesn't work on far side of building well if at all.
Kitschy historical attraction, with food options and little shops, but a long outdoors haul to the hotel buildings. Room felt like a rundown interstate motel, with no sound proofing. Needs renovation.
Double check your hotel room to make sure it's clean. This place and old and moldy. Some of the nearby areas are unsafe. I feel dirtier after I get out of the shower here!
This could be a terrific place to bring tourists into Chattanooga. EVERYTHING is run down, and not Maintained. We were the only 2 people staying in the entire hotel. Dirty room, did not stay
