Epicurious: Saimin is Hawaiian comfort food - long, soft, crinkly Chinese-style noodles in a Japanese-style broth, topped with green onion, slices of fish cake, bits of luncheon meat. This spot does it best.

Andy Wright: Tourist review: Great beach to visit during the week. Not sure what this looks like on a weekend. Weekends I'm sure are packed as the views and surf are incredible.

Shana Summerhays: Watch out for the HUGE spiders that have massive webs on the rock cliffs near the lava tide pools. They are everywhere. Also, If you hear rustling in the trees don't be alarmed, it's just chickens.

Justine  Ezarik: poipu beach is a great relaxing spot with some good snorkeling and a nice beach to lay out on. bring a few treats for the roaming beach chickens and get some shave ice!

Posh Kauai Sarah: If you just want to see the light house the view from the lookout is amazing. If you want to see the wildlife and close up view its $5 per person admission but to me the view is best from the lookout.
