Converted warehouse space very close to Sala Apolo. Entrance is free, its a great pre-club drinks destination!
I love this Dive bar in Poble-Sec. Reasonably priced, and it has a very local feel. If you are averse to touristy locations, come here!

This venue is a killer space that was converted from a 1950's vintage theater. Never seen anything like it in Barcelona. Excellent place for cocktails.
Thursday is the best night by far: they are open 24 hours! Rest the next day during siesta. :)
Really retains its turn-of-the-last-century charm. Beautiful art nouveau details, old-world atmosphere, good house vermouth, and decent gin and tonics. A Classic.

This Barcelona bar is closing after 193 years! It's had some pretty famous customers in those years, though, with Dali, Picasso, Hemingway and Gaudí all regulars over the years!

Outstanding gin and tonics! G'n't places are all over the city now, but few beat XIX. It's been around forever; they know what they're doing. Best on weeknights (less crowded).
Best tapas I've ever had. Try to grab the corner seat at the bar and be sure to order: steak tartar, tuna chunks, langoustines, jamon, almejas del carrillo, razor clams & the steak w/ olive oil.
