Ever wonder why they call this school "Chippewas"? Us, too. Turns out the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe & CMU have a strong relationship... There are 2,767 enrolled tribe members!

Central Michigan University is home to the Delta Rho Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. The chapter was installed on April 30, 1993.
