my running list of brunch spots for out-of-towners visiting NYC
1. Peels
Charles B: build your own biscuit. great spot, but gotta be ready for a bit of a wait.
2. Bubby's
Charles B: Amazing bloodies. Every single item on the brunch menu is off the chains.
3. Sarabeth's Central Park South
Charles B: Great brunch spot if you need something a bit nicer for the family. Make a reservation if you can.
4. Clinton St. Baking Co. & Restaurant
Charles B: Great bunch spot just south of Houston. Also need to be willing to wait.
5. 'ino Café
Charles B: only a few tables, but the Truffled Egg Toast is worth a trip.
6. Miriam
Charles B: best brunch spot in Park Slope imho. Middle eastern brunch specialties are amazing.
7. The Grey Dog
Charles B: If you want a good, casual brunch that will fill you up, this is your spot. Great coffee too.
8. Hundred Acres
Charles B: Good brunch spot in Soho. Nice space and great bloodies.
9. Five Points
Charles B: Pretty refined brunch spot. If you can snag a table outside on a nice day, its a great place to drink away a hangover.
10. Northern Spy Food Co.
Charles B: Small restaurant, but if you are lucky enough to snag a table, the brunch is excellent. Dinner good too.
