The best Mexican restaurant in Harlem. M-F Happy hr 4-7pm starring $2 tacos and $4 margaritas. Ladies Night every Wednesday 4pm-close. Brunch specials Sat/Sun including bottomless margaritas, mimosas.
SUPER cute new neighborhoodbar! Good prices. The fish and pulled pork tacos ($7/2) + guac ($4) were *amazing*. Drinks ($9) were good but tell them what kind of tequila. The house stuff was harsh.
The taco sampler is the best deal here - $25 for 8 tacos / 4 varieties. Guacamole is expensive, and the space is cramped and loud, but the lobster, sirachashrimp, and tofu&mushroom tacos are worth it
I came here on 'Turn up Tuesdays' with DJ Chaka spinning . Great music! The guacamole was fantastic - they made it fresh with no tomatoes to accommodate my sister's allergy. I'll definitely be back!
Now a bonafide destination, hidden below street level is a new 60's style bungalow meets the hood, with a hand carved tequilabar & margarita menu to boot. Calling it a tacqueria is an injustice. Wow!
I can't comment on the atmosphere, but I ordered from them through Seamless when they just opened, and my tacos were really good! Especially the ones with tuna. Mmm. I keep ordering! :)
I can't rave enough: fantastic 'rita's and tacos, super cheap happy hour, fun crowd of mixed races and ages, friendly staff, great music. Very crowded and loud, but in a fun way.
Living across the street, trust that I can say this is a godsend. The happy hour (4-7) is solid & the service is excellent, even when the hood rushes them at 6:53pm. Get the fish tacos; all of them!
Great menu choices ... can't go wrong here and if something is wrong, they're attentive enough to change it. The tortilla bowl is my personal favorite. With chicken.
Nice vibe, good happy hour prices but weird music (rock) being played in the evening...not really the right sound for a Mexican spot...the food was just meh...honestly was not impressed.
Really disappointing seating service. Host says 30 minute waiting time. After 20 minutes - waitlist.me -shows next up. 70 min later still no table for party of 4. Couples of 2 serviced just fine 👎🏽
I tried the fish, pork and chicken tacos. Fish and pork were the best. The chicken had some weird tomato paste. meh...The margaritas needed some fine tuning also, hope they're better next time
