Thursdays is buck night, best value for admission. You can't beat watching the horses race on a beautiful summer day. Extremely nice card room with very friendly dealers. The pizza is the best!

In season, they have horse races on the weekend which are a great event to do with, They also have chariot races as well which are really fun, especially for kids to watch!

On a beautiful day there's nothing quite like it! Char at Char's Bar (second level) has great fixins for Bloody Mary's and is one of the kindest bar tenders there is! Highly rec and very kid friendly!

On the last Saturday in July, go to see the Corgi Races and also get cupcakes. I haven't done this but saw it on the internet so wanted to write this tip basically as a reminder to-do for myself

Great Saturday afternoon with friends, get a restaurant table and really relax in style... Skip the buffet, but order the flat bread pizza. Bloody Mary's are delicious!

Come for the horse races stay for the fun. The cardroom is great, its non smoking so you don't have to get lung cancer while playing blackjack.

There's a pumping/changing station for mommies. This is a very family friendly (and not trashy) track. Kudos Minnesota.
