Officially the bridge don't have the "Dom" at the name. There's a rumour that the king didn't appear to the inauguration and the people takes off the "Dom" and the name passed to "Ponte Luiz I".
The best walking tour in Porto is to get the stairs behind Sé do Porto and go all the way down until you get to the river Douro. Observ the colorful houses and the amazing drying clothes on the wires.

The MUST place to visit when in Porto! An amazing building from outside and inside too. Also great performers and concerts. This is about 50m from another MUST the WW Store!
after the visit don't forget to make a stop at the wines space: there are lots of information of all regions wines plus free tasting session with the most traditional wines of Portugal! Worth a visit!
Everyone knows as "Rotunda da Boavista" but the official name it's " Praça Mouzinho de Albuquerque". In the center you can find a commemorative monument.
It was not free as some say but it worths the walk and paying 3 euro for tasting. You will know more about how Porto wine is made and taste three kinds. 10 years tawny is great!
