Just saw the special exhibit on bio-luminescence which was very educational.

Check out the two impressive aquariums in the Water Gallery. The big tank has fresh water species like this large mouth bass.

Chris AAugust 1, 2013Good museum. Each floor (4) is broken into two sections and range from early time (dinosaurs) to rocks/minerals to water. Nicely done.- Live animal display in the basement! See the cool creepy critters in Animalium. Get nose to nose with a Banana slug or a walking stick insect.

- Don't forget to look up...way up! There are fantastic carvings and other beautiful architectural details to be discovered. Bring your kids and your camera!
