A must when in Edinburgh! 4 storeys of fun. Start from the top down. Come before sunset to enjoy the views. Great for kids, careful with the stairs tho. Must try the vortex & maze!
I suggest going not for the camera obscura but from the views from the top floor where you can also learn about the history of Edinburgh buildings. Lots of fun if you go with someone else and for kids
SO MUCH FUN! give yourself a decent amount of time because you can spend hours here - however if you don't get to do everything before they close, they let you come back, which is very cool!
We really liked camera Obscura today there are lots of things for the children and adults to get entertained with. Shop is expensive though. Good wee show up on level 5 before we began also?
If you come in the evening around 6pm at winter time, you'll get 10% discount b'coz you can't see the view from camera obscura n if you have citytourbus ticket (hopon hopoff) you'll get 10% discount
Totally in love with it! The view from the top of the building is fantastic and the museum itself is so fun. Totally worth at least one visit (I'll come back sooner or later)
Worth the entrance fee. The Ames room can provide endless amusement. The actual camera obscura worth going in for, but one for the kids. There's lots of steps up and down, be warned! Read more
