Stay in the hostel to meet some of the world's friendliest people, then enjoy some local brews and yummy food in the bar downstairs. Get a Cambie Card - discounts on everything - totally worthwhile!

Granville Island beer is usually cheap here but the food is burgers and just ok. Come for the atmosphere of international travelers because there is an attached hostel; also cheap.

Not sure why 'metal' is still a thing in Vancouver, but it's alive and well at the Cambie. Crowd's a little rough, but service is friendly.

Great price for a pitcher ($12), and even better on Wednesdays ($9). If you prefer a rowdy pub, this is the place!

Lovely, unique building from the late 19th century. Lots of mice though. Bring no food with you or zip it.

grab a window seat and put your jacket/sweater over the oldschool radiator. that way when you leave to the cold/wet outdoors, it's toasty warm!

As a hostel, this place is uninhabitable. Water damage floors, smells like farts, in total disrepair. Secure doors often left ajar.
