Try the BLT Bloody Mary - a meal in itself ( it's ok if you don't eat meat, just take out the bacon and feed it to a friend, it doesn't make the whole drink taste like it) Love the balcony seating!
Based on a "Speakeasy" theme, Cafe Sbisa is a great place to be introduced to the local food, music and culture of Nola! Great place for first time visitors to start their vacation.
The pork chop special with bourbon glaze was fantastic. The atmosphere is authentic NOLA. The Ibervillionaires made the evening with their Jazz set. Moscow Mule approved.
Great service, picturesque setting, and a piano player in the corner. I enjoyed the drum fish for my entre, but the portions were a bit too large for me.
They fancy themselves as pre-prohibition era bar but they had no clue how to make an Old Cuban. The bartenders are snooty jerks & no matter what you ask for, they will insult your choice of drinks.
Food was decent. Head waiter attempted to charge $40 for 5 glasses of champagne that our party didn’t order. Listed an auto-gratuity on the bill and ended up chasing us out of the restaurant.
Established in 1899, Sbisa's remains one of New Orleans' oldest restaurants, serving an amazing array of French Creole and Cajun inspired fare for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch as well as delicious craft cocktails and an excellent wine selection.
