Like stepping back in time; Order a real kaffé creme, crêpes with apricot jam, lox on brown bread, and the spaetzle. You'll never know the great disservice you've done yourself if you skip dessert.

SaraOctober 13, 2018Amazing for a date. Coffee/tea and dessert recommended. Desserts are delightfully decadent. Espresso is perfected. Also, the bookstore - gorgeous, excellent and varied selection.

For dessert the chilled coffee mit ice cream and whipped cream, and the shredded crepes soufflé with fruit compote were both excellent. The classic Viennese chocolate cake and the latte were ok.

Great atmosphere, although there's often a wait. My usual is weisswurst (which comes with a warm soft pretzel), strong coffee, and a slice of sachertorte.- YES: trout crepes, bratwurst sausage Mit cheddar cheese (I don't even like sausage), pretzel. DESSERT: shredded soufflé with fruit compote, eiskaffee. NO: sandwiches; tried 2 so far and they were meh.

Order wiener melange if you d like to have a cappuccino. Topfentorte is such a lovely cheesecake. :)
