- I’ve never been to a restaurant two days in a row to eat a specific dish, but their pecan pie French toast did it. Hell, I don’t even LIKE pecan pie.

- Madeline RJanuary 2, 2016Great for brunch, though it gets pretty crowded by 11. Banana walnut sticky bun is delicious - and feels deceptively light!
- __TR3VSeptember 9, 2013not a fan of fried food but, the buttermilk fried chicken over cheddar waffles was pretty good. nice ambiance and attentive staff. If you can handle it, order a Paper Moon cocktail. impressive!

- Josue EvillaSeptember 29, 2016There's usually a wait, but it's worth it. If you don't have a large party, try your luck at the bar for an open spot.
- Ankireina DjumalaOctober 18, 2012The fried chicken is completely overrated. But the pecan pie sundae IS TO DIE FOR!!! Ordered the fried chicken and the mussels. But highlight of my meal is definitely the pecan pie sundae!
- Jarid KeminkAugust 10, 2015Fried pork chop and their homemade pickles are my go to menu items! But seriously everything is great here.
- Becky AwesuMApril 7, 2013Beyonce ate here a couple weeks ago which means cue the "urban" crowd and even longer wait times. Delicious food and good service so well worth it.
- Joseph MarchettiJanuary 11, 2016So good we had to come back again. Fried chicken and waffles. Also the pecan pie Sunday is a must have!
- Juan CriadoMarch 4, 2013The fried chicken and cheddar waffles are incredible... Its just an explosion of flavor... Unbelievable... The Sundae for dessert is also scrumptious!!!

- jake furstJuly 11, 2011the roasted chicken for two (only on Sunday nights) is comfort food as it should be. it also answers Napoleon's question definitively: chickens do NOT have large talons.
- Alexander RomanOctober 26, 2013The star of the sea (bloody mary w/ a freshly shucked oyster) was delicious and a perfect way to start off brunch.
- Catherine AndreJanuary 2, 2018Delicious brunch, had oysters, avocado toast and ABC sandwich, all of them to die for
- Ah Young KimAugust 14, 2012Pecan pie sundae is really tasty if it had a little more vanilla ice cream and less pie. Get it as part of the $25 prix-fixe on Mondays!
- Joanna FlammMay 19, 2011Really exceptional food, service, atmosphere. One of my favorite "New Brooklyn" restaurants, hands down. Duck meatloaf and pecan pie sundae are both killer.

- Jeanne LaddJune 9, 2012Vegetarians take note: the court street Bloody Mary has meat in the garnish. An unexpected an unwelcome surprise!
- Kev SkinnyJuly 17, 2014This place is excellent. Brooklyn standards 9/10...rest of the country standards 11/10. Service was pretty slow, but food and drink were worth the wait.
- Rick ValenzuelaFebruary 1, 2015Make sure you look to see if you have the vegetarian menu, we were confused that there was no fried chicken on the menu!

- Mary JasenMay 28, 2017Great place, but today no fried chicken. Walked a one to get there, people were the best. Will return!
- Village VoiceAugust 13, 2010Try the brown butter, corn, and mushroom linguine-auced in a rich slurry of brown butter and corn milk, which pools at the bottom of the plate, where it's soaked up by feathery chanterelles.
- Chris BruceDecember 22, 2017The fried chicken and cheddar waffle (with balsamic/maple syrup) is out if this world
- There's a reason there's a line outside for brunch. Definitely worth the wait!
- Mark HimmelsbachMay 12, 2013Yes, the chicken and waffle and duck meat loaf are fantastic. Don't sleep on the bacon almonds to start.
- Stacy ScibettaJune 1, 2012Great food. Wait staff accommodating. Lousy bar service-a bit on the uppity side-no need for that. Please acknowledge your patrons for without us you'd not be able to pay your rent! Loud atmosphere.
- Randy SimmonsMay 15, 2010Wow. This place is stellar. Brook trout and duck meatloaf were both spectacular. Chicken liver pate with cherries is a must if u have a taste for it. This could be a regular stop.
- Brian MooreMarch 15, 2012My favorite: make your partner order the pancakes (delicious), and you order the hash (best I've had). Split and enjoy.

- AndreaOctober 1, 2011Pancakes, eggs and pecan waffles are delicious. Pork chop looked good. Remember to get your free mimosa or Bellini @brunch. The waiters won't ask you about it.
- You gotta do a short stack for the table along with the strawberry jelly donuts. Oh, and the short rib hash is a monster. Mmm!
- Ms. CoxOctober 24, 2016Ps if you dont like your french toast too sweet don't order. This is more like cake. The cheddar waffles are the next best thing for you!!
- Kathy LiuJanuary 8, 2016The biscuits here are ridiculously good, and come with sweet jam and melted butter. 👍🏼

- GourmetLiveJune 3, 2011In creating the menu for Brooklyn’s Buttermilk Channel, Doug Crowell worked with designer Gabriele Wilson to develop a graphic mascot for the restaurant that evokes a sense of history.
- Dog-friendly! They are chill about your dog being next to you outside as long as the dog is on the other side of the barrier. Duck meatloaf is awesome.
- madelyn ManagerApril 18, 2014Excellent bloody Mary's. I could drink 3 but I'd probably fall over. Service is outstanding too.
