Cocktail expert David Wondrich is a fan of this Milwaukee bar, which is the city’s (and possibly the state’s) oldest—established in 1938. Wondrich says it was “cool before there were hipsters.”
All kinds of cocktails. I especially loved one called the Herb that had mint, cucumber, gin, and tonic. And you can't go wrong with their chocolate ice creamcocktail!
Coming here is like stepping back into 1940 & I loved it! They have no menu but will make you whatever you want! There's a bar & only about 5 booths. It's cozy, retro & they play oldies :)
Probably the best mood lightingcocktail lounge in town. Extensive knowledge in mixology, so be sure to have some fun and tell your bartender/waitress what you like and see what they come up with.
My FAVORITE place for drinks in Milwaukee! I went once with the recipe for a smoothie and asked them to turn it into a cocktail.....look for it in their little black recipe book! Tiger Blood!
Their claim to fame is that they don't have a cocktail menu; instead the knowledgable bartenders ask customers what they normally like and are in the mood for, and make cocktails to suit.
Bryant’s holds Cocktail Hour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5-9 p.m. All ‘Depression EraCocktails’ are half-priced, including the Old Fashioned, Cassis, WhiskeyRiver and many more.
THE place to go for an awesome cocktail. Pricey, but worth it. No drink lists, as the bartenders have all that memorized. Just tell them what you like, and they'll create something delicious for you!
Great cocktail lounge. Amazing drinks. No menu - tell bartender flavor/style/spirit and be wowed or try Brain Buster. Great music, cool vibe. Fantastic bar staff/owner. Park on Lapham for car safety.
No cocktail menu, but don't worry. Tell your bartender your tastes and he'll take good care of you. Also- If you've never tried one, you've simply got to get an ice cream drink. Yum!
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. This bar is dark, but after trying their St. Paddy's Day punch or Old Fashioned you'll leave lit up. Read more
Love the dim lighting and rat pack music & vibe. This is an excellent date spot, or just a great place to enjoy delicious cocktails specially made for you.

Sit at the bar rather than the tables in back. Watching the geniuses behind the bar working their alcoholy magic is the best part about coming to Bryant's.

They serve over 450 cocktails. They don’t have a menu at all. You tell the bartender what kind of mood you’re in and they’ll get you drink based on that. Read more
You have to try Frank's Drink if you like whiskey. Rye Whiskey, Chartreuse, Bitters and other secrets John Dye won't tell you. Also Sporting Fraternity every month is awesome.
