Can't say that I've had bad service and I can't rave about great service either. The outdoor patio is semi-enclosed (and heated) so it's a great alternative to sitting inside.
Don't be fooled by the mass of people out front. Its always busy but the line moves very fast. There is just more room inside to eat than wait. Enjoy the great SD weather. The wait is worth it.

Hands down best breakfast I've ever had. China omelet with hashbrowns and a blueberry muffin as your sides and you won't go wrong as if you even could at this establishment.
I had a to go order and waited with a cup of coffee. Took my order and asked me 4 X “this is to go correct” yes, yes, yes ! Reiterate the order 4Xs. To go nope 👎🏽 had to remind 😑 coffee refill?
Yes, sometimes they are uber busy and the service may not be stellar, but the food is good like "The California" omlet. Get the fresh squeezed orange juice....de-lish!
Here are some tips for this BYC location:1. Expect less than stellar customer service! 2. If it's your 1st time at BYC don't go to this one, try the on in Pacific Beach. That way the benchmark is set
