I love old school book stores. This one is great. It's one of those stores that you can spend hours in. And the staff was friendly and professional.

This little gem leapt at me out of nowhere as I was walking up Bleecker St. The neatly curated street side display just grabbed me and I couldn't resist buying a couple of books.

favorite bookstore in manhattan, maybe life. check out the bargain best sellers upfront. brand new, good books are always curated on the shelves from $7-9. staff are super helpful.

Stop by often as there are great deals on the outside table and they're always changing. Awesome book browsing. (Then start your new book while eating gelato from Grom down the block.)

It's a lot smaller than The Strand, but this cute little shop has a good selection that you can still get lost in perusing.

They sell best sellers for half-off. If you're lucky, you'll get a better deal (almost 70% off) whaaaat. :)
