Dined at Fish Shack. Adored the marina decor. Fresh oyster & clams. Go for an appetizer extravaganza, most creative things on menu. The fries are perfectly cut with crisp outside, soft innie. :D
Oyster happy hour 5-7 on weekdays is the best! Get there early to grab a seat, it's only at the bar. Also $5 beer, whichever the happy hour special happens to be, but all their beets are solid.
Love the fish shack for casual dinner or business lunch. Good fish tacos and peel n eat shrimp, plus the oyster and happy hour drinks are great. Good IPAs.
Request 3rd fl w/ res. Sea urchin risotto, pass on hamachi. Lobster & king crab seafood-packed cioppino is a steal at $48! The scallops, whole red snapper. And don't forget sides- they're all so good!
We went while the 2nd & 3rd floors were under construction, but still had a really enjoyable experience on the 1st floor. Also, how has no one written about the buffalo shrimp yet? Sooo good.

This New England style clam shack really knows how to cook their fish. If you are planning on sharing the Whole fish category is amazing for a family-style type of meal.
Try the bathrooms! The food is always great! Cannot say anything bad about it here. The servers are attentive but not too 'in your face'. Always pleasant.

Located inside a townhouse, BLT Fish has some of the best seafood you can find in the Big Apple. Speaking of big apple, wait till you try the green apple cotton candy for dessert.
Fish version of the other BLT establishments. Food and service is good. They sure pack you in during lunch so coats and briefcases are difficult to manage so don't bring too much baggage inside.

Get the lobster roll and don't look back. Bread is just right, lobster is plentiful and it's not overdressed. Thin fries and cheesey garlic bread r all u need to complete the meal.
Avoid the fish sandwich. Big bun, tiny piece of fish. Stick with the fish and chips if you're looking for something fried. Or the pick-a-fish for something plain and delicious.
Whether you have a reservation or not, or if it is busy or completely empty, the hostesses are flat out rude, unhelpful and full of disdain. Not the type of thing you'd expect at a BLT restaurant.
