This seasonal modern American restaurant in the West Village, has raised the stakes on the notion "farm-to-table." All their ingredients are local & they breed, raise, & slaughter their own animals. Read more
Blenheim NYC has their very own farm, taking farm-to-table to the next level, and they serve a lovely brunch menu. As a vegetarian, I highly recommend the French Toast and the Roasted Squash Soup.
Another fav of the night - zucchini vichyssoise flavored with hemp and pine purée. Heads up : it's served cold like avocado gazpacho. Interesting and subtle. Good for hot summer
"farm-to-table dining spot is playing up brunch goodness like short rib hash w/ two sunny-side-up eggs, French toast with vanilla-roasted figs, and a version of the chef’s Grandpa’s sausage patties."
Super place. Food was great; service super friendly and knowledgeable. Pea agnolotti and seared scallop appetizers fabulous; also the short ribs and pork. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Food was delicious, especially the pork and beets. But crowd took themselves a little too seriously. Need to add some charm in with the delicious food.
The Bitches say: C+. We enjoyed our brunch, but both felt it was only slightly above average. The atmosphere was special, but in a saturated brunch market, it wasn't a memorable experience. Read more
Great atmosphere and great service. But food was kinda meh. Some real highs (pickled strawberries and fried chicken - but without the sauce) and some lows (really overcooked pork & salty risotto).
Staff bungled a simple reservation request and generally had quite the attitude. A few interesting items on the menu (lamb!) But overall lots of room for improvement.
Really wanted to like this place but the service is terrible. Took us more than 30min to get our drinks, they almost threw our plates at us & took more than 1hr for food to arrive.Shame as food good.
Stay away. Food is appallingly mediocre for the price. My poached egg came out stone cold. My husband's steak tartare was mushy and gross. Wine is highway robbery at $17-25/glass for a crappy list.
