My favorite in STL! Chicago style - be warned it’s a ton of cheese and the sauce has a kick. They’ve renovated so not as divey, but you still order at the bar and have to wait 1+ hours...but worth it!
Damn I’m impressed! I needed to order a late dinner and this place stays open later than most. I got a thin (hand tossed) pizza with pep & sausage... So bomb! Absolutely packed with flavor 😋
I liked it but between the super drunk pizza guy sitting with us to try to tell a joke, & the barmaid coming over with a baseball bat and telling us to finish our beers, the experience was an odd one
Everybody that complains on here is wrong. Been here half a dozen times, Best Pizza and great service! Its a dive and the pizza is worth any wait. Pi sucks, this is Chicago w lots of toppings!
This isn't Chuck E Cheese or Imo's or Pi. It's a neighborhoodbar that happens to make pizza. But if you pronounce it Blacktharn then you probably love it as much as I do.
Try the Sausage Pizza - Chicago stylesausage pizza #blackthornpub #24hourfoodgeek it usually takes at least an hour, but it's so worth the wait! (via @Foodspotting)
It's a dive, and you'll wait awhile for your pizza, but it is so worth the wait. They do Chicago style right and their pan and thin crust pizza are amazing too.
Hands down... this is the best deep-dish pizza in town. Just be prepared to wait for it (hang out & have a few beers), or phone in your order before arriving.
Known for the deep dish, but I recommend the party pizza. Comes on a huge, rectangle sheet tray! Either way, call ahead. You could be waiting 1+ hour for a pizza.
$2.50 PBR and $8.00 pitchers of Bud/Bud Light. Schlafly Pale Ale/Winter ESB/Hefe on tap. Best Chicago style pizzas in St. Louis. Friendly bartenders.Come hang out and have a good time.
Seems like an ok place. Still havent tried to eat my chitown style pizza. Filled up on garlic beard while waiting for my second pizza. First one was wrong :( but I did get a free drink!
