Bite is a great little neighborhood restaurant conveniently located on 14th street and third ave. It's run by friendly and dedicated people. The food is great and cheap! I love the sangria!
I LOVE this place. The friendly accommodating quick attentive servers. The delicious flavorful food with fresh interesting ingredients. The live music that pops up. Best Mediterranean in the EV!
Great sandwich/salad/soup place. Middle eastern vegan w/o oily eggplantspicy, middle eastern mushroom, feta salad! Mix of black bean and tomato soup! Great prices. Slow service. My "go to" lunch spot
Order their shakshuka/shakshooka (poached eggs in Tunisian tomato sauce with feta & pita) & their mallawach (Yemeni puff pastrypancake with a hardboiled egg, chopped salad & spicy tomato sauce).
Great place for paninis, and they have really good substitutes for their vegan options (veganchicken parm, etc)! Expect a bit of a wait though, even when there’s not a lot of people in there.
First time here and I ordered the prosciutto panini with fresh mozzarella. I love eggplant so they added sautéed eggplant in my panini and the owner gave me a sample of eggplant purée too! Lovin' it!
I think I have my favourite salad place in town! I am in love! Service is super friendly, price is fair and food is tasty and fresh. Go for the Mediterranean salad!
Cheap&good salads, sandwiches and soups in East Village. Same price as the delis nearby and much better! Go for the Mediterranean salad. Ask for the small version of it with a sandwich of your choice
The tunapanini is really good (a bit spicy and a bit heavy). Also a big fan of the Sabich -- they replace the traditional pita with Balthazar roll, which I think is a big improvement.
The small Split Pea soup was delish, lots of veggies and homemade; the turkey pesto panini on multigrain was awesome very healthy and filling; oh also a plus it was $12 for both & a drink tax included
Make a special trip to enjoy one of their delicious sandwiches. Start with the Middle Eastern Egg Sandwich, then have a Tomato Soup and a Prosciutto & Mozzzarella Panini.
Had a combo, spicy tunapanini and spicyblack bean soup for $8! Came on a Thursday night and there was a live jazz band playing. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Black forest ham panini combo with chili for a buck more is my favorite. I've been living off this place for more than 2 years now, keep up the good work!
This place IS incredible.. Fresh food reasonably priced and so good! Sometimes the wifi doesn't work, just kindly ask the person behind the counter to reboot the modem and you'll be good to go!
