The place was a huge surprise, we stepped in with no prior information and it was surprisingly good, everything was perfect, and the staff was so nice. higley recommended
You have to try the wagyutataki or the wagyunigiri! Amazing taste! The chicken yakitoris are pretty good too. It is a bit pricey but given the quality of the ingredients it is worth it.
For a michelin plate recommendation place, this japanese izakaya has all: attention to details, open kitchen, juicy wagyu beef, small but serious cocktail and small-batch whiskydistilleries list. 5*
Quality&taste nice.stafffriendly,service normal.deco&location ok.nice concept.Small portions/high prices-not value for money. Though nice tastes/worths trying once.Go for skewers matching your taste.
A great soundtrack and a serious cocktail list set the mood and the young team are full of energy. Japanese snacks and grill-based dishes have a modernised Western edge
The Good: great place with superb service, nice music, tasty food and good cocktails. The bad: expensive and very very small portions. Trying burgers and cocktails next time.
On the sunny side: original izakaya idea, preparation to the point, friendly staff. On the not-so-sunny side: poor value for money. Wouldn't come again. If you wanna do Aris Vezenes, just do Vezené.
Wow, one of the most overpriced restaurants, I’ve been to. For example, the ebi stick consisted of 2 small shrimps and it was very expensive for what it offered.
Really small bites, all of them expensive choices. Portions are intended solely to accompany your drink. I had the vegetables on the sticks, nothing special.
It will be definitely too hard for me to find such an awful place again. I redefined in my head the term expensive after this visit. Terrible experience.
A contemporary Japanese pub in the heart of Athens, serving serving authentic new-style yakitori made with high-end Greek ingredients, straightforward drinks, and relaxed vibes. Sister to Vezene restaurant.
