The name BIKINI BERLIN came from Bikinihaus, which is how locals affectionately called the building in the 1950s. The two-tier architecture reminded them of the then daring new swimwear fashion.

Quite different from the other malls in the city. Many small shops from local designers, instead of the usual global fashion brands.
Def. a different approach to the mall concept. Not for everyone, but I liked it, esp. the Gestalten store.

Forget Alexa - this is a cool shopping mall. No H&Ms or REWEs to be found in here. Shops seems to have been handpicked for their unique selections of wares. But cool products come with high prices.

Head to the roof, it's the closest thing to NY's Highline Park in Berlin.
