Time Out London: The world’s only museum dedicated to fans. It’s a tiny space consisting of two rooms with an overall collection of 3,500 antique fans, some of which date as far back as the eleventh century. Read more.

Ben Firshman: Great Ormond Street Hospital's museum covers the history and personalities connected with the hospital since its inception in 1852. It also houses editions of Peter Pan from all over the world.

Adrian Hon: Despite the fact the entrance is very unwelcoming, this place *is* open to the public. There's a great little museum in the basement with Faraday's scientific instruments and such

Ben Firshman: The college has a museum containing more than 800 instruments and accessories dating from 1480, including the world's oldest keyboard instrument.

Ben Firshman: The Royal Military School of Music Museum at Kneller Hall has a collection of musical instruments, music, documents, prints, manuscripts, paintings and uniforms showing the history of military music.

Ben Firshman: There is a small museum behind the shop with stationery including John F Kennedy’s and Princess Grace of Monaco’s condolence books, old Christmas cards and wartime telegrams.

Ben Firshman: The Museum of Methodism is housed in the crypt of Wesley's Chapel. It contains artefacts and relics relating to Methodism including several of Wesley's speeches and essays on theology.

Ben Firshman: The Westminster Abbey Museum is located in the 11th-century vaulted undercroft beneath the former monks' dormitory.

Ben Firshman: There is a Crime Museum here, housing weapons (including some used by Jack the Ripper), cases, and even death masks of people who have been hanged.
