Some fun stories about the nose are said to be a spare for Nelson in Trafalgar Square, or a tribute to the Duke of Wellington.
One of Rick Buckley's "Seven Noses of Soho" is attached to a wall on the east side of the street.
On the brick column to the right of the main entrance is one of about 35 sculpted noses placed around the city by Rick Buckley in 1997. [Nose missing since May 2015?]
The nose on the wall here is apparently part of a 2005 "Living Streets" project rather than one of Buckley's, but is sometimes counted as a Nose of Soho.
