Just south of Purana Qila, this genteel enclave specializes in Indian and Nepali handicrafts & ‘antiques’. There are two outstanding tea shops here: Regalía Tea House & its neighbor Mittal Tea House.
Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is the most prominent Sikh gurdwara. It is a place of great reverence for Sikhs, and a place for special congregation on birth anniversary of Guru Har Krishan.
Opened in 1998, it is located at Hare Krishna Hills, in the East of Kailash area of New Delhi, India. It is one of the largest temple complexes in India.
It serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. Inspired by the lotus flower, its design is composed of 27 free-standing marble clad "petals" arranged in clusters.
