Ben Tinsley: Atlantic Station is a community built around a large outdoor mall. You need a movie theater? Find one here. Lots of shopping? Check. Sometimes Cirque de Soleil does shows here, as well!
Ben Tinsley: This is off the map, but if you take the Arts Center Marta to Decatur, you can get to it quickly. Decatur is Atlanta's eccentric older sister who never sold out. Cool restaurants and shops to find.

Ben Tinsley: This one is more touristy, but you can find some cool stuff here, like the World of Coke and the Georgia Aquarium. Take Marta to The Dome/CNN Center stop.
Ben Tinsley: Don't confuse it with Five Points! Little Five has coffee shops, boutiques and ethnic restaurants. If you don't mind panhandlers LP5 is the place to go. Take Marta to Edgewood and go west on McLendon.
Ben Tinsley: A nice smattering of restaurants catered toward the Georgia Tech crowd. You can cross the 5th Street bridge and check out the Tech campus.
