In a refurbished open space (something very Scandinavian about it), modern, delicious and fresh food is presented in small portions. Relatively good value and friendly service.
Beautiful venue at the Secret Garden. The venison was very well done, the chocolate sauce was unique and decadent. The trifle was also a great dessert.
A must when you're in Edinburgh! Free entrance. It's great for kids of all ages, lots of interactive pieces plus the big kids' room on the first floor next to the escalators. Very nicely designed❤
About 45 minutes hike to the top of the hill....30 minutes for those who are fast. Be sure to bring enough water and a wind jacket. A must visit for those looking for a panoramic view of Edinburgh.

The staff knowledge of their whisky is beyond... Some many kinds of whiskey and around 10 taps of beer you never heard of... Got to love this warm place, so worth it!
You can arrange a whisky tasting at their store, be sure to book well in advance. We went for a premium tasting session, was well worth the money, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable

The SNPG is a wonderful place. Beautifully laid out and easy to navigate. Some spectacular paintings! You must see them first hand. Photographs don't cut it.
Whisky: a great learning experience for those new and even those who already appreciate a wee dram. Museum at the end of the tour is astounding. Don't forget to enjoy the view and a drink at the bar.
