Ben Engen: Really well done museum. I'd recommend starting your Iceland visit here as it provides some great history and context for the things that you'll be seeing as you visit the rest of the country.
Ben Engen: Generally regarded as one of the better restaurants in town. We did the tasting menu and it was quite good but I still preferred our meals at Messinn.
Ben Engen: Way cooler than I thought it would be and I learned a lot about how the larger geological formations around Iceland were formed. Definitely worth a stop.
Ben Engen: Icelandic hot dogs are totally a thing and the thing that makes them a thing is the toppings. Go here and get one with everything, you'll be sold.
Ben Engen: Nice hotel that puts all of Vik in walking distance, not that that's difficult to do. They also offer the very valuable service of Norther Lights wake up calls.
Ben Engen: A nice restaurant out in this neck of the woods. Good but nothing to write home about. Reasonably priced, though, especially by Iceland standards.
