Dutch colonial classic pink monstrosity. Afternoon tea is absolutely incredible and a must in Cape Town. Gorgeous savories, sweets, and beverages. Explore the grounds and peek into the spa afterward.
Updated Oasis wing rooms, decked out in plush red sofas and paintings by local artists, have given the storied hotel new life. Chef-led tours bring guests to the coast to forage for the night’s meal.

Tea today was good as per usual - vanilla ceylon tea and crumpets with clotted cream! Loved the chocolate ganachecake, cheese cake, macaroons, hertzoggies, macadamia nuttart and more!
The mini bar set up has excellent design. The Waterford Sauvignon Blanc comes recommended. The estate itself had a chocolate ad wine tasting and flagship wine named 'the Jem' that come recommended.
Arrive to high tea very hungry! Fantastic spread of finger foods and pastries. Strawberryvanillarooibos is great. Come early before it gets crowded with children and poorly dressed teenagers.
