Great service. Lunch menu from 11-3. Delicious authentic Mexican food. The best Margarita's on Barracks Row. Accessible by metro "Eastern Market" stop or Circular bus

The Banana Cafe in neighboring D.C. houses colorful decor that sets the tone for Cuban, Mexican and Puerto Rican dishes. The upstairs piano bar is open every day from 4 p.m to 11 p.m.

Happy Hour from 4 to 7:30. $3.50 specials. Limited food menu at the Piano Bar upstairs. Not that you will care, the Margaritas rock!

Delicious! Had the Puerto Rican piononos and my husband the Mofongo with masitas de cerdo. We loved it. Was a bit pricey though.

Ally is a great bar tender! Very friendly and the drinks are good price. I like the atmosphere, and the garden is pretty. Two thumbs up!

Best flan ever - and I've had a lot of flan from Miami to NYC. Great food. Authentic Cuban sandwich. Highly recommended.

The guy on the piano (also uses a trumpet and saxophone) is among the best I've encountered in DC.

It sounds (and looks) a bit odd, but you really need to try the Puerto Rican Mofongo. It's essentially fried plantains mashed and formed around meat - and it's awesome.

The service is slow... It's part of the style, but the Ropa Vieja is one of the best dishes I've ever had. I highly recommend trying it.
