Great service. Lunch menu from 11-3. Delicious authentic Mexican food. The best Margarita's on Barracks Row. Accessible by metro "Eastern Market" stop or Circular bus
The Banana Cafe in neighboring D.C. houses colorful decor that sets the tone for Cuban, Mexican and Puerto Rican dishes. The upstairs piano bar is open every day from 4 p.m to 11 p.m.
a brightly colored island oasis with well-deserved reputation for excellent, reasonably priced Cuban and Puerto Rican fare and mouth-watering mango margaritas....try the Cuban picadillo or ropa vieja
It sounds (and looks) a bit odd, but you really need to try the Puerto Rican Mofongo. It's essentially fried plantains mashed and formed around meat - and it's awesome.
Banana Café & Piano Bar is a very casual neighborhood hangout with delicious Cuban, Mexican and Puerto Rican cuisine and an excitingly vibrant piano bar!
