I think for sushi the place is an ideal spot. Yes they have the classic rolls that everyone is so familiar with but they also feature many delicious combinations that I have never heard off before.
Sushi boat is not bad. Try a dragon roll if you feel like special roll. Spicy mayo on shrimp tempra was really good. Tonight's winner for me was wasabi seaweed crisps. Like a savory snack food.
For sushi lovers there are a few must-haves: fantasy rolls, spicy sushi sandwich, and the lovely rolls! Combinations of banana and American cheese takes traditional sushi to another level!!! Loves it!
We ordered the spicy sushi sandwich, shrimp tempura roll, tuna sashimi & rainbow roll. Everything was fresh & delicious. Our host was fun & personable. Our waiter, Adam was VERY slow & not attentive.
Super fresh sashimi and service to match ! My sister-in-law randomly found this restaurant and it was a wonderful experience.! Loved the volcano cocktail as well.
Great lunch specials 2 for 1 on all signature cocktails. Lunch special 9.95 with free glass of sake and dessert. On a sunny day sitting out back in the garden is a must.
My relationship w/ bamboo 52 is a failing one; I keep giving it another chance but continuously leave even more disappointed. In a city with so many fabulous sushi restaurants, I need to cut the cord!
Since we started coming here in 2010, it's sad to say that they have slipped. The drink & food menus and service have all steadily declined. It's still "better than most" but not what it used to be.
Build your own roll lunch. Bartender guy was busy all time talking with his boyfriend. Sushi rolls were disgusting and they messed up ingredients in both of them. Only good thing was free sake shot.
The rumors are true- this place is great if you have a lot of time. Service is slow and the waitstaff isn't attentive. Not worth it- go next door- Danji is amazing
