An old Soho standby. Not much to add about Balthazar except that it's worth making a reservation (especially on Friday mornings). Oh, and we're not sure about that bowl of coffee.
Simple French classics. Speedy service, tables crammed together to turn over customer after customer all day and night long. Overpriced, boring but weirdly enough worth the hype. Get choc pot de creme
Amazingly creamy oysters & some of the best frites in town. If there's a long wait eat at the bar. Some of the best seats in the house! http://MichelleC.tv
The half grapefruit at $7.50 is, unsurprisingly, discernably less delicious than the $13 half grapefruit I once ordered from room service at the Mandarin Oriental.

Eating in the dining room is nice, but real Francophiles know the bakery is where it’s at. Pick up a pain au chocolat and a baguette (or three), and don’t miss out on the lemonade.
I got skate fish with green beans, it was moist. They have a nice selection of fresh fish and oysters. The stile of this cuisine is french. I like the breadI heard it is a really good place for brunc

This may be the most overhyped restaurant in New York. Everything was under seasoned. The burger is very diner-esque. Which is totally fine if you’re not paying $30 for it.
Great breakfast, great people watching, great scene. Love it! Anna Wintour of Vogue is spotted here very often and last time I was there, I saw Christy Turlington eating fries!Killer Sunday brun Read more
SoHo: I have seen Katie Holmes Cruise and Suri close this place down, and all I wanted was to bring home a loaf of bread. Try any of their baked goods!
for those that cringe when they hear steak tartar....this is a whole different way to enjoy it. that and the bouillabaisse are great hearty meals to try here.
The latte came out after the food. $21 for Norwegian Eggs Benedict (egg shells included). Quite shocked considering the establishment, but they did get the service end correct and picked up the tab.
It's one of those places where you think being so famous would damage its quality, but it's definitely not the case. Good comfort tasty food is served at all times.
