A wine & cheese shop, serious kitchen, live music venue, and fun bar all rolled into one. Hand the cheese you buy to the cashier along with $5; you'll get extra grilled bread & cheese plate fixin's.
Load up on wine, cheese and charcuterie in the shop up front then settle in for a night of live music. Everything ordered off the menu out back was delish, too. This place is perfection.
Grab some cheese from the cooler (the cheese plate they make are out of this world), pick out a bottle of wine, stop at the window to order a couple other little plates & grab a spot under the trees.
Great backyard hang with live music, wine, beer, and cocktails. Pretty much perfect but in the middle of nowhere. Try the Joint down the street for great BBQ.
Known for its al fresco dining ala Bywater with live music, skeeters, and a slew of rickety furniture, Bacchanal offers a seasonal menu of exquisite small plates on the cheap. [Eater 38 Member]
Magic. Come with a group and arrive before 7pm to get seats outside by the stage. Order a couple bottles of wine, some cheese, and small plates to share, and settle in for the night
Magical backyardgarden with live jazz. Buy wine and cheese inside and take it out back or check out the bar upstairs. They also offer delicious small plates.
The best rigatoni I think I have ever had. If you like mushrooms this is a must. The wine selection is good and you will find something that will delight. All that and live music.
Believe the hype, this place is awesome! Spent a whole afternoon here sipping rosé, eating, and listening to some great music. Amazing vibe, can't wait to come back!
Lively, laid back atmosphere - the perfect place to grab a drink with a group of friends or go on a date. Get a bottle of wine or beers and sit out on the patio with a cheese plate listening to jazz
Fantastic! Love the relaxed, pay/tip up front dining. The food was excellent. Bacon wrapped dates are to die for! Chocolate bark for dessert in combo with the Barrel Monkey Shiraz was perfect.
Good selection of wine. Cheese and meat prepared for table was very nice and good amount of bread for the cheese. Also, it was very cool the night we were there and the portable heat lamps were great!
I was a little overwhelmed at first with all the people, but it was a really great experience. They have different seating - upstairs bar, outdoor for the music. The food was amazing, lots of wine!
Interesting place and a fun experience too. First, choose your wine and cheese at the shop. Second, grab your ice with a bucket. Third, have a seat, relax and enjoy live jazz music.
This place is incredible. From the ivy that adorns the back patio, to the unassuming stage that features soothing artists, this world classwine bar is a MUST when coming to NOLA. Go on a week day.
One of my favorite stops in recent trips to New Orleans. A very creative venue and a novel approach to a wine bar with retail bottle and a la carte purchases. Great food, music.
Just the absolute best. Pick your wine and cheeses in the shop, let them plate up the cheese choices for you, then settle in at a table in their dreamy backyard. Live music and amazing vibes.
Seriously? Wine. Cheese. And jazz? What’s not to like. Get yo a$$ down here. Super chilled vibes and an amazing way to spend a few hours away from the madding crowd.
Grab a bottle from the wine shop, then walk around back. Head up the stairs for a great view with plenty of ledges to pour your wine. Watch the band and the crowd while you watch for a table.
Embrace a hipster vibe with live music, a robust wine list, and choose your own cheese plates at this quaint spot in the historic 9th ward. Take an Uber or drive as it's off the beaten path a bit.
Totally unique-a DIY wine/cheese shop. U pick & they deliver a gorgeous platter w quince jam, olives & baguette. The kitchen serves solid small plates, too. Helen Gillet ev Monday night is a MUST SEE!
Best concept; buy wine and cheese to retreat in the backyard listening to live jazz all evening long. Dessert; dark chocolate bark w sea salt. Need no more.👌
Grab bottles at the wine shop entrance, find a table in the open air backyard (or up in the restaurant, although not as fun), & quickly place an order for olives, meat, & cheese. Incredible music!
I feel like I had died and gone to heaven! Amazing Rosewine, tasty food, incredible outside atmospheric seating, live jazz music and fairy lights! Couldn't have picked a better spot !
Hands down, best place I've been in NOLA. High quality cheese plate, better than what you expect. Happy hour 3-6, many wine options. Live music, outstanding backyard
Cannot imagine a glorious world in which a place like this opened in NY. Read up before you go- the wine/cheese/food/seating can be a bit difficult to navigate 1st time. Or just find new friend & ask!
Recommend getting there by early evening on the weekends to get a table in the backyard. You'll likely be planted there for hours as you drink wine, eat delicious food, and listen to amazing music!
Great wine and cheese selection! Grab a bottle, pick your favorite cheeses and meats and sit back and relax in the beautiful outdoor space while you listen to great music.
Favorite bar in nola. Seating outside in the back with live music. Great cocktails! You can buy a bottle of wine in the front store and take it out back.
Credit cards accepted with $10 minimum. If you're with a group grab a couple bottles of wine or beer & take it out to the patio on the way in. Food ordered at the window round the back or upstairs bar
Adorable spot to buy a bottle of wine and a few cheeses and head outside for some live music while the staff plates and serves your order. Only con: They have a huge problem with flies.
You buy cheese and they plate it for you! You buy wine and grab your own glasses! You sit/stand outside and drink the wine and eat the cheese and listen to live-but-not-too-loud music!
Amazing wine & food ! The vibe is one of the most positive and inspiring ones I've felt ever. Best place I ever visited. Must see for hipsters and positive people !
It's the kind of place where you could easily wander in for an afternoon glass of rosé and find yourself still sipping among the tiki torches at midnight. Read more
The cheese board is a must. Great small plates, that really aren't that small! 2 with a shared cheeseboard is plenty. Such a great atmosphere and lovely music
